What Causes Boils In The Underarms?

Hello Doctor, For many years now, I have these boils kind of things happening in my underarms. These secrete some kind of puss. Tho of varying quantities at different times. They also affect the movement of my hand, as it pains, at times when the boils are forming and have not burst to start secreting. They stay for a few days and then dry out automatically. I also get them in the groin area at times Is there some permanent remedy / cure? What doctor should I be consulting?

Boils—sometimes called as abscess occur as an effect of skin infection. The growth begins at hair follicle or oil glands beneath the skin. Boils occur initially as small, red lumps which will eventually build up some pus under the raised skin. Boils commonly cause severe pain and pus eruptions. Boils are mainly caused by a germ called staphylococcal bacteria. When it ruptures, it causes bleeding. Underarm is a favorite site of boil. A weakened immune system also enlarges the possibility of having boils. Most of the time, boils do not require immediate medical assistance. To treat your boils on buttocks at home, several things can be done:
1.     Always promote hygiene - Wearing loose shirt will help you cope with the painful boil on buttock. Sterilizing the infected areas with rubbing alcohol also helps promote sufficient hygiene.
2.      If your boils opened, wash it with clean water and antiseptic and cover it with sterilized bandage. Keeping wounds moist will help promoting new skin cells growth faster. Change the bandage twice or three times a day, especially when the abscesses excrete some pus.
3.     Compresses - Give a warm water compress onto your abscess to promote proper blood circulation around the infected area, which also brings the boil on to the head, so that it can be brought out more easily.
4.     Amoxicillin 500 mg thrice daily per oral for 10 days
5.     Ibuprofen 600 mg per oral if pain occurs
Thanks
