What Causes Body Weakness Inspite Of Suffering From Asthma In An Elderly Person?

My father is 76 yrs of age with asthma. Last year my mother expired due to cerebral stroke. after that he became completely introvert and started thinking negatively. We are giving some medication like nexito LS, Lonazep MD, Axipan-DSR and Multivitamin after consulting a psychiatrist. But day by day he is getting thinner and very week, even unable to walk though taking somehow a normal meal. Please advice what to do?

Hi , Myself Anagha from anaghasworld. I am a dietician.
He is in shock thats sure, but being asthma patient , he having less of oxygen supply to his blood , and because of poor oxygen supply most of the problems happening. make him do deep breathing exercise, he should be always in well ventilated room , free from pollution, take him out in early morning in garden so he will boost up his oxygen stores.
take advice from asthama specialist too.
