What Causes Body Tremors While Suffering From UTI?

My friend has begun shivering uncontrollably and is feeling very cold, all very suddenly. She knows she has been fighting UTI for a long time, unable to get rid of it completely. She is under warm covers and is breathing more calmly. I think the shivering has subsided a bit. Does she need to go to ER?

Yes, she should. She should go for routine as well as culture sensitivity of urine. If she has a male sexual partner, both of them should be examined by a doctor.
