What Causes Body Spasms In A Child?

My eleven year old son started spasming uncontrollably as he was trying to go to sleep. He did not lose consciousness but could not control his limbs. He stopped and then started again a half dozen times before he fell asleep. This also happened last night. Until last night it never happened before.

this can be epileptic fits . it is requered to be examined by neurologist at the time of spasm. eeg is to be done if epilepsy confirmed then treatment has to be started. keep the child under observation. dose and dont are to be observed fire point and water point is tobe avoided.
