Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello doctor,my name is soni im asking behalf of my mother last two days she was sufferring severe body pain and vomiting she is having nonstop hiccup and numbness in the head she is not having proper motion whatever she eat it will vomit even water also. she is also patient of diabetics and Bp. we have checked the BP from our house,152-74
In addition to checking her blood pressure, you should also assess her blood sugar, since she is a diabetic.
Very high blood sugars can be associated with vomiting along with additional symptoms.
IF the blood sugar is high then she needs to be seen by her doctor.
Vomiting and joint/muscle pain may also be due to viral or bacterial infections. This possibility would also be assessed by her physician.
It is important that she replaces the fluids lost. She should drink small amounts frequently. If she uses a large amount then she would have the urge to vomit.
I hope this helps
