68 yr old wife came home thu night with chills and shaking and nausea. so bad had hard time actually walking. she just wanted to get into bed, wrapped up, with me hugging her until the chills (and nausea) went away. the next morning she was somewhat better (the shakes and the chills had gone but she really didn t want tp eat and had a little soup and a piece of toast all day. slept most of day. she and i both had a cough (me for four weeks) that was persistent at night. her cough turned worse that night as well. we both started a z-pack on sat and it seems to have helped me, but i m not sure about my wife. she is still on the couch and sleeping most of the time. she had made contact with one of her friend who did come down with the fku. we haven t gotten our flu shots yet this year...although we were planning to do so this week. she also considered a sandwich she ate that didn t taste right and/or shots she gets in her knees every six moths for pain.
