What Causes Body Ache, Appetite Loss And Nausea?

My 29 year old daughter has achy flu like symptoms for several days. This follows passing kidney stones 2 weeks ago and being on antibiotics for a urinary tract infection. She s been able to eat very little, nauseous, and vomits most of what she does eat. She s finished with the antibiotics, but still in great pain. She still has her prescription anti-nausea medicine (dissolves under her tongue), which helps somewhat. She s taking ibuprofen for pain. She now has indigestion-type symptoms, which may be partially due to inability to keep much food or water down. Help please!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your daughter seem to be related to a viral infection.

I suggest taking anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen.

I suggest drinking liquids and rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
