What Causes Body Ache And Chills?

Hi, My daughter is 19, at college. Just called with aches, chills, in a ball in bed . I said it s fever- rest, keep warm and/or cool, and lots of liquids. She said she has been to dr for this before (a year ago) and they said she had no fever. For some reason she has never registered a high temp on thermometers, and I ve never known why. Could mental health meds affect her temperature readings? She s been treated for depression/anxiety/OCD/ADHD since 1st grade.

Medications what you have mentioned for mental health does not cause alterations in temperature readings.
Chills with body aches are the chief symptoms of viral fever. It generally subsides by 3 to 5 days and requires only symptomatic treatment and rest. She can take Tablet.Paracetamol depending on the symptoms. Wearing warm clothes and taking good quantity of liquids would certainly help.
If the symptoms persist for more than 3 days, she needs to undergo certain investigations and clinical evaluation, for which you need to consult Physician.
