Hi I have cataract surgery 1.5 month ago. Still have blurry vision .doc said some particles of cataract left in the eye .it should dissolve.... How long will it take ? Feeling flash light in my eye form past 2.5 weeks ..... Doctor checked twice.... Didn t find any traces of retina detachment... But I m still feeling the flashes .... Why is that ? What should I do ? Should I go to another specialist?

Hi and welcome to HCM,
It is possible that some cataract matter is left behind inadvertently. Normally if it is small bits, it should be absorbed spontaneously.
How long will it take depends on the amount of lens matter left behind, but in my opinion, 1.5 months is long enough.
Seeing flashes of light is a ominous sign and should be thoroughly investigated, though lens matter can sometimes cause this.
It would be better if you can seek a second opinion.
All the very best health to you and your family!!!
