Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doc, I have been recently married on Dec 16 and last week her nose started bleeding with sharp head pain which started from the back and spread to left or right in 2-3 cases and she is also facing difficulties with her vision. We had her admitted to the hospital and now the bleeding has gone but there is a slight pain in her head and blurred vision continued. What this could be and how we can get this sorted? FYI all her reports were normal such as blood pressure, no diabetes, No excessive Uric Acid, etc. Only haemoglobin was slightly low which the other doctor ruled out to be the cause of everything above. Her age is 20 years and she is approximately 55kgs in weight. Also one more thing I would like to share that her nose used to bleed whenever she tried to get asleep and when she sits or walk her vision goes black. Head pain is noticed in both the cases but it s more while she resting on the bed compared to sitting or walking.
Consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI scan to rule out any possible intracranial causes. As of now analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol can be taken for symptomatic relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
