General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
i can understand your concern.
You havenot mentioned your current blood sugar levels.
I assume you are a diabetic and your doctor had given metformin for its control.
Blurred vision, weakened bladder control can indicate complications of diabetes ie diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy respectively.
Our primary goal would be to get blood sugars within normal limits by either insulin or oral medications.
Get the following tests FBS, PPBS, HbA1C, Urea, creatinine, Urine for micro albumin and a fundus examination by an opthalmologist.
Medications can be initiated accordingly.

Hope this helps.
Thanks for choosing HCM
