What Causes Blurred Vision After Cataract Surgery?

Hello, I am 48yrs old and had cataract surgery on my left eye (due to injury) 2+ years ago. Until today I have not had any difficulties. I am noticing today that vision thru this eye is a little hazy in spots. I thought that my eyes were likely just very dry, so I tried some eye drops. It did nothing. Your thoughts?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

You had a traumatic cataract. It is tobe examined by an eye doctor. Fundus examination to be done.

If it is clear then it is to be assessed for other problem. The tear should be tested with strip if the deficiency is detected then refresh eye teardrop should be applied.

If any problem was due to dry eye then you will get relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashok Kumar Dash, Ophthalmologist
