What Causes Bluish Color And Loss Of Skin Elasticity In Finger?
hi dr. sam after a long hot day at work, I sweated really bad, as i drove home my hands cramped up bad and i felt a numbness in my right ring finger the i saw tha it was bluish and my skin wouldnt spring back was ot elastic should i be concerned ? thanks

Hi.
As per your case history of bluish finger, my treatment advice is -
1. Wear wollen gloves while outside and in cold environments.
2. Keep your affected finger in hot water for 2 minutes twice daily.
3. Apply a nitroglycerin gel once at night on bluish part.
4. Other treatment options are oral aspirin, NSAID given only after consulting a dermatologist.
