What Causes Blotch In Vision Of Right Eye?

Hi Dr. Rynne.I just started having a blotch in my vision that travels when I move my right eye. If I look right, it moves right, etc. The blotch is squiggly and not very big. Is there something I can do to make it go away? Any vitamin I should take for eye health? Will drops help? Any ideas?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Blotches in vision, moving with movement of eye are floaters. These are due to age wise changes in jelly like substance in eye. These floaters mostly disappear over the time or remain non obstructive in vision. Control of diabetes, blood pressure, correction of refractory errors is needful. If they start troubling in vision, consultation of ophthalmologist for needful surgical management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
