What Causes Blood In Urine?

My son is about to turn 18......for the first time, he has brown/blood? in his urine. He gets the chills after he pees and back pain....low? I think he has a bladder infection but I have 3 older sons and have never had this problem . Colon cancer on his dad s side.....?

He must be having kidney problem (acute pyelonephritis). You should do his urine routine microscpy, Complete blood count, Ultasonography of whole abdomen. With these reports visit nearby General Physician.

And start Tablet Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice a day after food.
Tablet Pantoprazole 40mg before breakfast once a day.

Drink plenty of water and fluids.
