What Causes Blood In Urine With Pink Spots In Bladder?
I had blood in my urine in the middle of the night with all the symptoms from a bladder infection (I ve had them before). But, I never had blood in my urine before. I saw a Urologist & was examined. There were pink spots on my bladder & the lab said it was not cancer. It could be from an irritation. I wondered if I passed a bladder stone when I was on the toilet for 3 hours that evening? I am to be re-examined in the beginning of June to make sure spots are gone. Could the blood in the urine have been from my passing a bladder stone? Guess I m concerned about bladder cancer. Thank you.
Hello Thanks for query .Based on the symptoms that you had I would state that you had UTI especially Cystitis .
Hematuria that you had was due to inflamed bladder mucosa .A single episode of hematuria is unlikely to be due to cancer of bladder which is confirmed by an endoscopic examination of bladder (Cystoscopy ) done by your Urologist .
Please note that hematuria due to cancer of the bladder is gross painless hematuria that last till it gets treated surgically either by resection and fulguration or removing bladder ...
Do not worry and rest assured that you have no cancer of bladder .
