What Causes Blood In Urine While On Nitrofurantoin For Severe Lower Back Pain?
I had pain in my lower left back. I went to the ,ER they did a scan and blood work. I was put on nitrofurantoin mono-mcr 100 mg. For 7 days I have one more pill to take. When I went pee and wiped there was some blood on the paper. Do I need to go back in?

You can monitor for now to see if the blood recurs or continues or if any additional symptoms develop- recurrence of the pain, passing urine frequently, discomfort on urination, abdominal pain, fever
If any of the above occurs then you should be reassessed by your doctor. You may need another course of antibiotics.
