What Causes Blood In Urine, Fever And Enlarged Spleen?

My son inlaw is in the hospital with blood in his urine, fever of 102 - 103, blood pressure of 135/145, heart rate of 170 and oxegyn level of 85-90. They have discovered an enlarged sleen but have ruled out any type of viral infection, mono, flu, and bacterial infection. They have done a spinal tap, 2 ct scans, blood and urine work and have come up with nothing so far. He has been int he hospital 4 days and this morning woke up with a rash over his entire body. The fever goes down when ice baths happen but raises back up right after words. The oxygen goes up to 95 when he has the tubes in but drops as soon as it is removed. Can you suggest anythin they can look at?
