What Causes Blood In Stools?
I have had blood in my stool for about 2 years.dark in color,everttime there is a bowel movement.every now and then ,it is enough blood to turn toilet water slight light red.what mat be going on?I have Dr appt Thurs.Im sorry I can't pay you,thank you

As a general rule, bright red blood as in your case means that the bleeding has come from the area around the anus. If the blood is darker, it usually means that its origin of bleeding is higher up the digestive tract.
