Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

It is important to differentiate whether your baby is suffering from milk allergy or lactose intolerance. The management of both conditions is different and hence both need to be differentiated. I suggest you to get routine stool examination and stool pH after consuming milk. The pH of stool is less than 5.5 on two occasions in case of lactose intolerance. I suggest you to consult your pediatrician for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
