What Causes Blood In Stool?

My child (age: 4.7 & weight: 17.2 lbs) has been got loose motion last week. Doctor prescribed “Zincat” [Elemental Zinc] syrup 5ml/day, after third day (today), he has completely relief from motions but has acute pain in bell and also sits long for stool and we watch some blood in his stool. Now doctor prescribed “Entemizole” syrup 5ml 3 times for 5 days. But I did not give till now, please help ……
