What Causes Blood In Stool?

Hi, I had an angiogram via my right wrist last Thursday about midday. It is Sunday morning and I have just noticed a slightly pinkish red blood in my stool. The recovery period so far has been much better than expected and I feel fine. Is the blood of concern or significant?

Hello,

Thanks for writing to HealthCareMagic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.

During angiogram little blood thinner is usually given which may cause little bleeding but then it usually settles i would suggest you not to panic and keep observing your stools if this does not happen again then there is nothing to worry about but if this happens again contact your doctor regarding this.

I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.

Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
