Hi, Few days back I had blood in the toilet bowl. Prior to this happened I had always felt like a small bowl in my anus that bothers me sometimes. On the same day where I saw blood in the toilet bowl, I had a tablet call Licithine de soja, had also big egg white omlette with chili flakes. Next day when I woke up I had blood as well.AAfter that never happen again and everything is normal. Went to a Doctor and he gave some cream and some tablet. Should I worry.

Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Saddiq ul Abidin. I have read you question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

Soya lecithin is basically a mixture of phospholipids and oil derived from soya. It is used an additive in our foods. So bleeding in stool may not be associated with it. However, if you found fresh blood in it then you need to confirm it whether it was actually blood or the red chillies that came out undigested.
If its actually blood. Still you don't need to worry about it. There may be some small crack around your anus that may have bled when you passed stool. Or some old pile can also cause this. To treat it you need to soften your stool. If I were your attending doctor I would have prescribed you fibre diet, bran bread etc and later on stool softeners and laxatives. When there will be no constipation there would be no blood and no pain. And anal crack/fissure will heal on its own. But you need to get your anal canal examination done by your doctor to rule out piles. Don't worry these are also curable.
Have fibre rich diet, use the cream advised by your doctor which will help you pass hard stool easily and keep an eye on the amount and color of blood. You will be fine. In case of any other unique symptom visit your physician immediately.
