What Causes Blood In Semen After Taking Lisinopril?
Hello I am under treatment for high blood pressure, taking lisinopril and aspirin as prescribed! However for over a month twice I ve had blood in my ejaculate. Is it due to the aspirin? I also had an urinary infection an was under ciproflaxin for 10 days after blood in my semen was discovered?
Blood in the urine may be caused by Infection bit Aspirin may also cause the same. We can't beat the moment sure as what may be the cause.
I personally think if there is no major bleed we can wait for the infection to cure and then see if blood was still there in urine or there was gross bleeding any time you should then urgently stop Aspirin and Contact your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
