What Causes Blood Clots During Period Post Mirena Withdrawal?

i have a bulky uterus problem since 2010. had mirana inserted. have removed the same in 2015. having normal periods now with blood clots in 1st or second day which lasts for an hour. should i go for another mirana or are there some other solution like excercising

Hi... It is normal to pass clots during periods especially on days when bleeding is maximum. But if you are passing frequently and big clots, then consultation may be required. The above description of the passage of blood clots does not warrant such concern.
Now if you want to decide whether to go for another mirana IUCD, then let the decision be based on amount of blood lost or choice of contraception.
If you desire to have IUCD as a choice of contraception, then you can go with the device irrespective of the bleeding status. But if you have excessive bleeding then go for IUCD. Exercising may not help you much in anything related to period bleeding and clots.
