What Causes Blood Clots During Menstruation Post Child Birth?

I have been on my period since Wednesday of last week. I was having blood clots that looked like it had tissue in it until Saturday. Saturday and Sunday it slowed down and seemed like it was over. I woke up Sunday night and I had bled through my tampon. I have changed my tampon 6 Times today and I have had a lot of clots that were very red but smaller then a quater. I have been on nexplanon since my daughter was born (3-6-15) and this is my second real period. The first one wasn t like this it was very light.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, irregular menses is very common phenomenon and it can be seen in all ages right from the menarche to menopause and this is happening due to hormone changes in very rare case it can be due to some disease and to ruled out this one has to go through clinical examination and tests else this is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
