What Causes Bloating Of Stomach, nausea And Light Pink Vaginal Discharge?
Hi, I am 22 and have been diagnosed with pcos about 2 years ago. Lately I have been feeling very strange. I have not had an appetite I feel bloated, tired, nauseous and I m extremely moody ( and I never get moody) I had some pinkish vaginal discharge and my period has yet to show up. I took a hpt and it was negative. Could I be pregnant? I am sexual active and am not on birth control.
Hello and welcome to HCM, PCOS is characterised by hormonal imbalance and the symptoms mentioned by you- bloating, tiredness, nausea and mood swings can occur in case you have hormonal imbalance. Thus, hormonal levels need to be assessed. In addition, a negative pregnancy test rules out pregnancy for all practical purposes. Pinkish vaginal discharge can occur during ovulation, during implantation etc. You can observe the symptoms for few more days. If the symptoms persist you can consult your gynaecologist for clinical assessment and for hormonal levels.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
