What Causes Bloating And Edema In The Legs After Taking Morphine And Percocet?

Wife is stage four colon cancer. Last 3 days she has had stomach bloating, severe edema in both feet and legs. One week ago she started taking morphine and percocet. Can these medecations cause edema or this more ralated to the liver. Can this be life threatening?

Good day and thank you for posting this question. Morphine and Percocet cannot cause edemea. The edema is probably related to the Stage four Colon cancer which has metastasised to other organs of the body including the liver and kidney. Yes, it could be life threatening.
