What Causes Bloated Stomach In An Alcoholic?

I ve been a moderate drinker for years! For at least the last yr I have pretty much drank every night the amount can very but I get drunk just to fall asleep. I ve never experienced dt s but for 2 weeks my stomach has been very swollen. What can I do?

Thanks for asking question in healthcaremagic. As I understand you have significant alcohol intake (not exactly mentioned by you). If this is so first thing to be ruled out in you is fluid in the abdomen secondary to liver disease. For this you need to get ultrasound of the abdomen after consulting your physician. Other causes of swollen abdomen could be flatus i.e gas or fat. But you need to consult your family physician.
