What Causes Blisters And Itching On Arms And Waist?

Hi Doctor, I am a Gilberts syndrome diaognized patient since 1998. On June-24th 2014, I have got developed with a rash on left inner bicep and further red/pink small non-painful blisters on thighs which are 7 to 10 in count. Dermatologist diaognized as Peduculosis and had asked to take shower with Lotion((Once), apply Topcort cream and further asked to use HHMITE Soap for 2 weeks, that didn t give me relief. Instead., during the month-span, blisters/bumps irritating itching snd slight painful have started spreading on Waist, Groin and inner fore-arms and below the arm-pits. Other symptoms involve Muscle pains (Leg) and Lymph-nodes (bith sides of Groin). Could you please suggest as what could be this related to skin allergy?

Hello and welcome to HCM
Since you were diagnosed in 2014 with pediculosis have you been experiencing these symptoms regularly since then? Does anyone in contact with you, or family members have similar complaints.
If it is pediculosis infestation it is important that all household members receive treatment at the same time so that it doesnt continue to spread and re-affect you. Keep in mind other infestations as well like scabies, or bed bugs etc
I would advise you to repeat an application of ivermectin all over the body excluding face, overnight and bathe in the morning. Repeat this once more after a week. Continue an antihistamine like levocet 5 mg daily for itching and apply calamine lotion 2-3 times daily during itching. Continue HHmite soap. Consider all family members taking a course of the same treatment as well. Do not share the soap. Wash all clothes and bed linen in hot water and dry.
If it still persists consult the dermatologist and test for the infection or any other cause. Remember to follow the treatment. Do not self medicate due to your prior medical condition.
Hope this helps.
