My 88 yr old mother had 2 small blister-like sores on the side of one of her breasts. They opened and bled with pus. She was never in any pain and never even noticed she had them until they opened. The sores have healed but she says just 2 small holes are there. Now she told me she has an appt with a breast surgeon. She lives in nursing care and doesn't remember to ask anyone why she needs to see a breast surgeon. I'm worried and I can't get answers from them since I don't have power of attorney. Should her situation be cause for concern?
