What Causes Bleeding With Clots From Rectum And Vagina?

I am really concerned. This is kind of embarrassing, but I need to know if this is a medical emergency. I have been having bowel movements regularly lately, but today I had a large bowel movement, and now I am bleeding from the vaginal and rectal area. This bleeding is coming with blood clots and mucus.

Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist. Bleeding from both rectum and vagina suggest that there is some defect in coagulation system for which evaluation is required.
