What Causes Bleeding In The Nose?

my nose suddently started bleeding just then, and it doesn t appear to be caused by blowing my nose too hard, because i have experiences in the past when i blow my nose too hard it bleeds but it s never alot, this time it is alot of blood....and what happened so far is that i have a cold and i took cold and flu tablet last night, and this morning for the first time i had protein shake for breakfast, because i want to loss weight for the coming up wedding as a bridesmaid...so i am just thinking to myself could it because of the protein shake? i am really freaked out because i tend to think the worst....q

Hello
Thank You for contacting HCM.

You do not need to worry. Nose bleed can occur if there is trauma to nose. In some people there is increased tendency to bleed (but that too not frequently or severely). For your personal satisfaction i would suggest you to visit an ENT Specialist for detailed examination.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you good health.
