What Causes Bleeding During Bowl Movement?

bloating stomach and when I have a bowl movement I have blood. It is enough to change the color of the water. It has been going on for about a week. When I eat I feel sick to my stomach. I do not feel like it is hemorrhoids because I do not have any of the other signs of hemorrhoids.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to a hemorrhage in the lower gastrointestinal tract. A colonoscopy is needed to confirm the source of bleeding. You should go at the emergency room for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
