I suffered from bleeding after urinating for about ten days. The bleeding was nearly always after, except on a couple of occasions. Tests showed that the urine was clear of any blood. I had no pain or discomfort . I am 86, active, healthy, play golf, gardening and cannot account for the bleeding. I usually get up about once during the night for a pee, some occasions the need is urgent, but a distraction can clear the feeling because my bladder is not really under any pressure. I have seen my doctor and had blood & urine tests. Nothing abnormal except an enlarged prostate gland, which is soft rather than hard.
