What Causes Blackening Of Nose With Sinus Infection?
My 38 yr. old son s nose is turning black. He saw a doctor a few days ago and was put on an antibiotic for a sinus infection and also had his sinuses flushed. The doctor didn t seem to know why this is happening. He is sending him to a Dermatologist. I am worried about this. Do you have any idea what this could be?

Well come to HCM
If only nose part becomes black then this could be due to some skin infection and fungal infection may be likely second this may be due to inflammatory condition and these both need to be ruled out, condition would be fine with proper treatment according to underlying cause, hope this information helps, take care.
