General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted the history and understood the concerns.

Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma is a terminal condition and cause any complications since the cancer spreads to other parts of body.
Black stools indicate that there is a possibility of bleeding in intestinal tract and can be confirmed by stool test.
May also need an upper GI Endoscopy and colonoscopy for finding and treating the site of the bleed.
Swollen legs can be due to sudden blood loss causing hypoproteinemia and anemia.
Needs correction of these condition.
She must be on chemotherapy, which itself can cause many a complications. Hence needs attendance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
General Surgeon
