What Causes Black Stool While On Multivitamin With Iron?
hi, im 25 years old before 6 months my weight was 80. now i reduced to 74. by December 2014 when i got my full blood count the hemoglobin rate was 11.1. after that again i had the full blood count test on February 2015 but it was 9.7. so i started to having multi vitamin with iron. recently when i saw my motion in black. is it any problem?

Black stools are very common with iron supplements , since the whole iron content is not digested and the metabolised part of iron gives black color to stools, it may lead to abdominal discomfort also lije pain and severe constipation.
But this is not to be worry about if the symptoms are mild and tolerable.if symptoms becomes unbearable than u can switch over to injectable iron preparation.
