Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of having black stool which is a sign of bleeding mainly upper intestinal as gastritis and duodenitis. It can be due to bleeding ulcer too and sometimes due to constipation. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take plenty of fluids in diet along with multivitamins. You should take oral rehydrating solution and along with that take diet rich in fibres. I would suggest you to visit pediatrician once and get complete examination done. You should get stool test done as well. You should get it monitored soon as sometimes it can cause lowered hemoglobin level in body.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
