General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you are describing are all common side effects of iron supplements, and there's not another easy way of replacing iron, unfortunately.

But one thing you could try is taking them every other day, studies have shown this is easier on the stomach, and actually increases absorption of the iron more than when you take it every day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
