I fell and scratched my hip against the corner of the bed rail a couple of days ago. I doubt it is rusty because it is pretty new. The scratch scabbed over with a black scab. It is slightly red about a half inch around the scratch and bruised. I am putting triple antibiotic salve on it. I am mostly concerned because it has a black scab. I have never had a spot scab over black.
Thanks for consulting the Physicians at HealthCare Magic. I have worked through your case thoroughly, and I can easily realize your health worries. Being your physician, I reassure you not to worry as things will settle down very soon. Its normal. Dont worry. Blood and serum when clots and dried up it becomes like that. So dont worry and dont scratch the area anymore. It takes a few dauhs to shed off at its own. You are doing good with the treatment.
May you get very well soon and have a wonderful time ahead. Please don't forget to give your valuable feedback to help us assist you in a better way. Click at 'I Find This Answer Helpful' & give a five Stars too. Write a review about your experience with me.
