Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi for about 2months I have experienced skin blotches that won t heal the inside of my ears have turned black and the skin in my noses is constantly pealing. I don t have a cold or any sinus issues. And if I get a cut or sore it takes longer to heal. And at night it feels like my air way is closing up, so at times I m afraid to lay flat down and sometimes if I sleep on one pillow it helps.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have black discoloration in ears which could be probably due to punctured ear drum, accumulation of wax and severe infection in your ear.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order certain tests like CT scan and examine ear with otoscope. You should avoid touching and pricking it with sharp object. Doctor may prescribe stronger antibiotics at least or 10 days along with anti inflammatory and analgesic medications. Doctor may recommend you patching of eardrum and tympanoplasty
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
