What Causes Biliary Atresia In An Infant?

Sir According to some Doctor my three months baby has been suffering from biliary atresia but it is not fully sure through the report.. Actually after 2nd days of his birth he has been suffering from joundice. Sir I am asking to you that it is also the symptoms of Amenia.... Please advise me.......

Biliary atresia is maldevelopment of biliary system.
It is mostly congenital (by birth) in nature.
It is not caused by any infection or injury. It is due to developmental defect.
It can be associated with anemia.
Surgical correction is the treatment of choice.
