I have had absence epilepsy for 50 years with a 10 year period of no seizures I had been taking tegretol when the seizures stopped. When they started again I began taking Keppra. Since I have experienced loss of balance, loss of coordination , extreme muscle weakness and fatigue. Is there a anti-epileptic drug with lesser side effects?

Dizziness somnolence may be seen in the patients of older age. In patients aged 65 years or older with anxiety and cognitive disorders, found dizziness to be among the most common. Please consult your physician/ treating doctor he will examine and treat with alternate medicine.
