What Causes Bad Breath And Spitting Of Blood?

Every morning there are tracies of what looks like blood when I spit into the sink, I get no pain in my throat but my wife has mentioed that my breath has started to smell particularly bad in the morning? Before this I've never suffered from bad breath!

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain bad breath and spitting of traced of blood can be due to infection and inflammation in gums.

It can occur due to either poor Oral hygiene or if you observe blood only in morning it can be due to mouth breathing habit leading to drying of mouth and gums and irritation can lead to bleeding..

You should consult a dentist and get evaluated and in case of gum infection Scaling followed by antibiotics and gum paint will help..

If you have mouth breathing habit cessation of habit like applying a vertical micropore tape over the lips to keep them closed at night will help...

You should also get evaluated for any other medical condition like Diabetes, hormonal changes etc..
