What Causes Bacterial Infection In The Throat?

i was sick last week, so i went to the doctor and they said i had a bacterial infection in my throat, so i took an antibiotic (amoxicilin) for 7 days, the day after i finished with it i started to get a sore throat and today (2 days being off my meds) i woke up with major body aches sore throat and tons of congestion, there even was a little but of blood in my saliva.But no fever this time and somtimes i get nauses....what could be the problem?

I suggest using an anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation.
I also suggest using a throat spray for antibacterial properties.
I recommend to drink liquids and rest.
