MY HUSBAND WHO IS 55 YEARS OLD HAS SUFFERED FROM C DC CHOLITIS? I DON'T KNOW IF I AM PRONOUNCING THIS CORRECTLY BUT HE EXPLAINED IT IS SERIOUS, IT IS A BACTERIAL CHOLITIS AND INVOVLES SPORES. HE ALSO INDICATED TO ME THAT HE COULD HAVE ANOTHER FLARE-UP BECAUSE THE SPORES ARE IN HIS SYSTEM. PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME ABOUT THIS AND CAN IT BE CURED, IS IT CONTAGIOUS, WHAT MEDICINES WOULD WORK BEST OR ALTERNATIVE METHODS AND WHAT IS THE PROGNOSIS. THANKYOU, dH
