What Causes Back Ache And Muscle Pull Behind Knees?
Dear Doctor, 2weeks ago I had a very bad back ache. I was given a jab and I recovered. After 3 days another muscle pull back of my knee. Another jab and I recovered. Can these frequent muscle pain be due to slip disc or any other central nervous system problem. Can I take neurobion for these problems. I am 62 years old.Thank you.
Hi First and foremost, you can take neurobion. It is basically vitamin B and should be safe.
As for the recurrent backaches, I would suggest an x ray or an mri of the spine. This test can help us know exactly what is going on inside and we can decide treatment accordingly.
Of course MRI gives more information, but then it is also more expensive. That being a consideration, I would always suggest an MRI
the fact is that these could be just random pains. But we need to know in case you are developing a spinal problem
And no, I dont think this is a neurological problem. Not in that sense of the word at least. maybe nerve compressions yes.
Best of luck Dr Mittal
