What Causes Awful Odor From Nose?

For years I ve had nasal odor that smells aweful. My dentist never notices it when I asked but if I clean my nose, it smells bad. In an enclosed area, I can notice it so can others. Years ago I coughed up nasal stones that stunk to high hell and remembered my nasal stench that smells alike. Please help. Thanks.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, it seems like you have some infection in the nose or sinuses which is long standing. Foul smelling discharge from both sides of nose usually is because of sinusitis in an adult. But rhinoliths (stone in nose) can be a cause as you are giving a history of this. Please get an Xray para nasal sinuses and preferably a CT scan Para nasal sinuses done this will help ruling out both sinusitis as well as rhinolith if any. Please take steam and do alkaline nasal douching of nose using saline. Please consult an ENT and get yourself investigated if the problem does not go with douching Regards
