What Causes Autonomic Dysreflexia?

Hello anyone, I m currently suffering from a condition called autonomic dysreflexia . I am a c-5 spinal cord injured man 58 years old & know what this condition can do if not treated. I am at Mt. Greylock nursing facility in Pittsfield Mass. The nurse on duty doesn t think this is an urgent matter and there is no supervisor here on weekends. What can I do I m paralyzed & can t get any help

Autonomic dysreflexia is caused by an irritant below the level of injury, including:

Bladder: irritation of the bladder wall, urinary tract infection, blocked catheter or overfilled collection bag.

Bowel: distended or irritated bowel, constipation or impaction, hemorrhoids or anal infection.
